Hello fellow floaters, for the months of August and September, I will take $5 off a kayak rental if you book a float for Monday thru Friday and mention this blog post. Up to 4 rentals can get the discount, so a family of 4 can save $20 on their float. Not valid on Labor day. Thanks and happy floating.

Hello fellow floaters, here it is May 14th, and it is only going to be 50 degrees. Well that means no floats this weekend. I will be open but just working on my trailer and van. They say a warmup is coming by next weekend. Let's hope so. I am more than ready to have some fun on the river. So get your projects done this week so we all can enjoy the nice weather when it arrives. Happy almost floating, Guy.

Hello Fellow Floaters, The river is still high from all the rain we have had this spring. I have a group of 5 wanting to go on mothers day May 8th. I think the lower float will be open if we do not get too much rain on Wed. I have room for 8 more for the 1pm float time, if anyone wants to take a mothers day float. I hope to take the upper float on Sat. May7th, to check for clear passage. I will update river conditions often, so check back here to see when all floats are available. Thanks, and happy floating.

Hello fellow floaters. This weekend looks like great weather for floating. I have a few openings left late Saturday. Sunday is also filling up fast. The full moon float for the 29th is almost full too. If you want in, give me a call at 231-740-0227 and I will hook you up. The river is down a bit from lack of rain, and the upper float has a spot or two that you may have to pull your kayak over the sandbar and get back in. Thanks and happy floating!
